The Artist

Julian Creative is home to the work of its founder and resident artist, Tricia Julian, a local Cape Town artist working primarily in acrylic and mixed media.

At the heart of Tricia's practice is a desire to express herself through creativity and, in doing so, bring a sense of joy to others. Her work moves freely across subjects and styles, led by curiosity and expression rather than a single fixed visual language. This openness to experimentation is reflected throughout the gallery, where visitors can encounter an eclectic and continually evolving body of work.

Creating a gallery has long been a personal dream - not simply as a place to exhibit her work, but as a space where art can be experienced directly and without pretence. Julian Creative is the realisation of that dream: a home for her work, a working studio and a place where people can discover art in a way that feels welcoming, joyful and deliberate.
